Rebekah Gauthier is from Pineville, LA and was a second time applicant for this scholarship. She is the oldest of 3 and at the time she was awarded the Do It Right Scholarship had just completed her 1st year of an Accounting Associate’s at CLTCC. During her first year, her parents were able to help pay for books, but she worked part-time to pay for everything else. She is an advocate for helping others, especially dairy farms. Through her senior project, “Save the Dairy Farm,” she not only organized and held charitable events, but reached out to the local community. Through her efforts, she was able to raise enough money to begin restoration on the Dairy Farm.
