Doris Valencia struggled to pay her bills and keep the lights on for her two children. She struggled from job to job with no financial security. She strived for more for herself and her kids, but never had the means to pay for schooling. Doris wanted to find her passion and to find a way to help others. Since Doris was awarded the Do It Right Scholarship in 2019, she now has the help she needs to pursue a new career, passion, and skill through school.
