Playtech announces major Live Casino studio development; launches exclusive multiplier roulette game
Continuing to move forward into the new year, gaming software company Playtech, along with longtime partner bet365, has launched what it calls "the most ambitious studio development" in the provider's 22-year history, headquartered on the Isle of Man, udenlandske casinoer commented in a statement.
The monumental undertaking encompasses two separate Live Casino studios, including a dozen 7-seat blackjack tables, three baccarat tables and two each for classic single-zero roulette and All Bets blackjack.
In addition to 19 tables, thanks to a partnership with long-term strategic partner bet365, a significant offering will also include the "new and exclusive" Super Spin Roulette. The custom-built multiplier roulette is said to boast a "unique gameplay experience" - a random multiplier appears on each spin with a maximum multiplier of x540.
According to Playtech, Super Spin Roulette takes center stage in the gameplay thanks to the studio's custom design, and all tables are arranged around the exclusive game.
Explaining the importance of partnerships and new studios in a company press release, Kevin Kilminster, head of Live Casino Innovation at Playtech, said...
"We are extremely proud that bet365 has chosen to partner with Playtech to create new and exciting content for their customers. It's fantastic to see one of our most prestigious partners take the opportunity to create custom content using the vast knowledge and expertise of the Playtech Live team."
Kilminister added that their new Super Spin Roulette product is "really one-of-a-kind, and the gameplay is very engaging."
Each of the new studios "is designed to an incredible standard, and it demonstrates the scale and innovation of Playtech when it comes to supporting our partners. We look forward to continuing our strong and successful partnership with this world-class operator."
The partnership between the online casino and sportsbook operator and gambling technology company is also responsible for Playtech's landmark entry into the U.S. market in August 2020, when the company launched its award-winning casino content with the New Jersey-based operator.
As mentioned, the company is on the upswing this year: earlier this month, it entered into a multi-channel partnership with Canada-based NorthStar Gaming, under which the latter will provide Playtech IMS Platform software, casino, live casino, poker and bingo to audiences across North America.
Following this multi-product agreement, the company has partnered with FashionTV Gaming Group to launch the new FashionTV Jackpot Baccarat game. This signature premium live jackpot game combines live casino technology with the "creative power" of the FashionTV brand.
The innovative new game is the first in a "line of total luxury" entertainment products under the FashionTV brand and is said to bring iGaming provider licensees the "perfect combination" of exclusive online gaming group-style licensing and the return of the Golden Dragon jackpot.
